The Lock-A-Bye Limited Warranty

Thank you for purchasing a Lock-A-Bye product.

Lock-A-Bye warrants to the first purchaser or gift recipient of its product, that its product is free from manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. A valid sales receipt must be included with any warranty claim to show that the product was purchased within the warranty period. If, after inspection of your product, Lock-A-Bye determines that a manufacturing defect exists, Lock-A-Bye, at its sole discretion, will repair the product or replace the product with the same product or a product of equivalent style or equal value based on the purchase price. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential losses and such losses are expressly disclaimed. Some states do not permit the exclusion of such damages, so this exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or alteration of this product. This warranty is applicable only if the product is used for its intended purposes, under normal conditions. This warranty is limited to the value of the product. This warranty is void if the product is serviced or repaired by any person or entity not expressly authorized by Lock-A-Bye or if a valid receipt is not included with the warranty claim. Locks are intended to prevent accidental opening and do not necessarily prevent the theft of the product or its contents. This warranty does not cover any claims for loss or theft of the product or for loss or theft of or damage to any contents in the product.
